The restorative training will teach participants about the fundamental components of restorative yoga, in it’s formal practice, and how this style of yoga can be utilized in the current culture. They will better understand how to distinguish between yin and yang practices and ways to help students restore through relaxation. There will be various postures taught around the movements of the spine and resting practices. Participants will learn about postures & props through self-practice and by working with others in the class. At the end of the training students will experience a full restorative practice and participate in feedback about their experiences. Students should walk away able to teach a safe and accessible restorative class in a way that supports their students.
10 hours of content including conversation, asana practice, technique and best practices.
*1 hour of training will be homework based.
