Jenna Baker

    Jenna’s yoga journey started in 2004, in a randomly picked up summer class at IUPUI with Lee Edgren of River Light Yoga. It was a magical summer – she saw the power of yoga to transform one’s life, and practiced off and on for the next decade. The old adage “when the student is ready the path appears” proved true in her case and in January 2016, she found yoga again and dedicated herself rigorously to its study and practice. She graduated from her 200 hour program at Practice Indie with Shannon Brasovan and Purvi Lippincott in Indianapolis, Indiana in May 2017. Her personal practice is eclectic and varied, with experience in Ashtanga, Iyengar, Yin, Kundalini, and Bhakti yoga and threads of each lines’ teachings make subtle appearances in her classes. You can always expect an alignment based focus and a class that asks you be a partner in your own practice, reflecting on what your body needs and what is possible, while still being fully supported.
