Jeremiah began his yoga journey in 2012 during a period when he felt disconnected from himself while working in corporate America. The stress was building and he felt like his life was spiraling out of control. At the suggestion of a therapist, he gave yoga a try. He gave it a try and it became a central part of his life. Yoga brought the balance he needed. He learned that he can effectively work in corporate America while maintaining his sanity and be a decent human being. He strongly believes yoga is a living practice and is so much more than the physical asana practice. At work he tries to apply the yogic concepts of the Yamas and Niyamas outlined in the Yoga Sutras.
Jeremiah sought out yoga teacher training to share his experience and help others find their balance through the practice of yoga.
Jeremiah completed a 200 hour training at Practice Indie in May of 2017. He did not stop learning there. He is pursuing his 300 hour training in the Fall of 2019. Beyond teacher training, he is always looking to learn more to improve in his personal practice, which fuels his teaching.
