I was introduced to Yoga as a teenager and began a consistent practice when I was in my twenties. I loved how yoga combined breath with body movement and challenged me to find calmness while practicing physically demanding postures. I practiced off and on for over a decade before I started teacher training and discovered all that this ancient practice really has to offer.
I completed training at Practice Indie in May 2019 under the guidance of Shannon, Purvi, and Nicole. Now I consider myself a lifelong student of yoga and look forward to learning alongside fellow practitioners as well as facilitating classes. One of my teaching goals is to create an atmosphere where students feel safe to be themselves and free to engage in self-exploration and discovery.
